I can't believe March is almost here. At the end of the month, my new novella, BACK IN HIS ARMS AGAIN, will come out! I like writing contemporary romance in between historicals. It helps clear the fog from my brain after being immersed in ballrooms, glittering salons, and all the intrigues and delights of the ton!
Having said that, my other new release, HOW TO MARRY A ROGUE, will be out by summer, I hope! I'm proofreading the final galleys now, and should have a date for the book release soon. Expect lots of giveaways, blog hops, and...drumroll please....a VIDEO BLOG! or vlog, as they are so wittily called. My resolution for this year is to share my process with you via the wonderful tools of sound and picture! So you will get to see my writing space, meet my fat cats, who enjoy scratching up any paper that has my writing on it (maybe they're trying to tell me something!), and see me!
In the meantime, I have started a new Regency historical romance, tentatively titled, LOVE BY ANY OTHER NAME. I hope to have a series of stories with great authors as the theme. In this case, I borrowed the title from Romeo & Juliet (Juliet's actual quote is "that which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet"). The heroine in this story is named Rosamonde, so that's how I came about finding the title that had a rose origin, in case you wondered.
What kind of romances do you like to read? What types of heroes can you not get enough of? Dashing rogues? Spies in disguise? Good boys gone bad, or vice versa? Whether pirate, Navy SEAL, NASCAR driver, or vengeful duke, what makes your heart go pitter pat? Better yet, what makes you spend your hard-earned money on a book? Is it the cover? Backcover blurb? Author name?
Please leave a response, and you will be sent an EXCLUSIVE first chapter peek of How to Marry A Rogue! I'll snail mail it to you with some extra little treats, too!
Thanks for stopping by!
